NNSW Futsal 2026/27 Community Competition Update
Registrations are open for the Summer community season, with competitions operating across Newcastle, Wallsend, Maitland, Nelson Bay, Awaba and Erina. The annual NNSW Futsal registration/insurance fee is $66, with team game fees of $63 for juniors and $88 for seniors.
NNSW FUTSAL WILL BE SUPPLYING THREE COMPETITIONS IN THE 2026 27 YEAR.
- Summer season Community Competition. (Starts in September 2026)
- Autumn season Community Competition (Starts in mid-February 2027)
- SUPA LIGA Elite Competition (Starts in October.)
REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN FOR COMMUNITY COMPETITIONS
We invite you to register your team or yourself to compete in the upcoming Summer Season COMMUNITY Competitions with our various Futsal clubs in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley, and Central Coast regions.
This year, club competitions for Community Teams ONLY will be available from U6 boys to All-age men, and from U10 girls to All-age women, and MIXED.
Club days and times can be limited and subject to change depending on numbers.
The community competition will start in the week starting 10th October 2026 and will run for 13 weeks, finishing in the 2nd week of February. It does not include Christmas school Holidays (except for Newcastle and Maitland, who will start the week beginning 14 September 2026).
Venue information
Newcastle Club will play out of Genesis/Old Howzat, with Junior competitions now on Wednesday and Thursday nights. This competition will start on Wednesday and Thursday, 16th and 17th September.
Macquarie/ Newcastle teams will also play at Macquarie College, Wallsend, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. (This is our main venue with two modern indoor courts available)
Hunter Valley teams will continue to play out of Maitland Basketball, with ALL teams playing on Thursday nights. This competition will start on Thursday 16 September and is filling up very fast.
Medowie / Raymond Terrace club. At this stage, we do not have a local venue. Teams may choose to register at Wallsend, Nelson Bay, or Genesis Newcastle to avoid missing out on playing. If a venue becomes available in the coming days, you can transfer from the other clubs back to the local area.
Nelson Bay Club will remain at the PCYC in Nelson Bay on Saturdays, with all ages 6 to adults invited to play.
West Lakes / AFC Awaba most nights. See the link on our website for their registration procedures.
Central Coast Strikers club will continue at the Adventist School, Erina. Competition is available for all ages 6 and up. Two nights available.
Fees and registration
ALL players, except AFC AWABA, must register on our website. Your $66.00 registration/insurance fee covers all NNSW FUTSAL Association competitions and is required for those chosen for representative teams.
Game fees per team:
Juniors $63.00 (½ hour game slots)
Seniors $88.00 (45-minute game slots)

With two competitions, Community and Elite, NNSW Futsal caters to all Football fans who want to learn while having fun and for elite players, it provides pathways to various opportunities. Futsal continues to grow; we thank our regulars for their support and would like to share with new players, through the various Football Clubs in our region, how good Futsal is for your football development, no matter your age or ability. Best of all, you are not restricted from playing because of weather conditions. Futsal is an association FOR ALL CLUBS, with our goal to provide a worldwide sport that players can play for fun, exercise and improvement in their outdoor game.
